What Covid-19 Prevention means to Dulson Training Shropshire
COVID -19 Returning to a safe working environment
Here at Dulson Training Ltd we have been continuously monitoring advise from the government.
We are still awaiting guidance from the DVSA on a date for driving tests to safely recommence.
Dulson Training Ltd are committed to providing a safe working environment for both staff and customers. We are working hard to implement new measures including cleaning zones and social distancing measures.
Social distancing within the vehicles is not possible, so where possible students will be paired with the same instructor known as ‘fixed team’ or ‘partnering’.
Our in cab PSV and HGV Driver Training and LGV Instructor School in Shrewsbury, Telford and Wrexham for Category C Class 2, Category C+E Class 1, Category C1 Ambulance and Cat B+E Car and Trailer Training and Tests have all been reviewed.
Our classroom courses will have social distancing measures introduced and where possible will be delivered remotely. These courses include Driver CPC, ADR, First Aid, Health and Safety Training and Risk Assessments.
We are staggering staff start times which will avoid there being to many staff and customers on our site at the same time. We ask that any individual wanting to visit our site to please telephone in advance to make an appointment in order for us to people manage correctly.
Unfortunately for the time being we will not be offering tea and coffee facilities so please bring your own refreshments for the duration of your training.
When training does resume any student showing signs of Coronavirus (COVID-19) will be asked to leave the premises and self isolate (following government guidelines). The safety of our staff and customers are paramount.
We hope to open for business very soon, however we cannot return to training without the facility of DVSA practical driving tests which at the moment are only available for Key Workers.
We have rescheduled many of our customers courses already, but there is still the possibility of further delays and postponements. This won’t be known until DVSA issue guidance on driving tests and the availability of them.
Our premisses and vehicles have undergone a full deep clean ready for re-opening, we look forward to welcoming everyone back.
Gloves and masks will be a mandatory requirement, along with us providing hand washing facilities and sanitisers available throughout the site.
We have full support still available for existing and new customers by telephoning 01952 770659 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
