Stay legal with our Online JAUPT Driver CPC courses
We are delighted to have been approved by JAUPT and DVSA, the governing bodies of Driver CPC periodic training to deliver our bespoke courses online.
This is for a limited time during COVID-19, it is expected that these courses will return to a classroom format later in the year.
During this limited time the allowance for online training ensures drivers can keep up to date from the comfort and safety of their own home.
We where one of the first training organisations in the UK to seek online approval. This quickly followed with confirmation and proof to allow our courses to run online without loosing engagement or quality.
We trialed various online platforms but agreed that Zoom professional was our best option. Zoom allows us to deliver training online in real time. Our instructor uses one monitor to view and interact with all participants and a separate screen to run our presentation and videos. Using screen share all participants share the same view as the instructor.
We are running courses almost every day at 8am, the training is 7 hours plus 1 hour of scheduled breaks. (8 hours)
We are a JAUPT accredited training centre and all of our courses have been designed by us in-house. These are adapted and updated throughout the year to make sure they meet our standards and the latest legislation. We are far from an off the shelf training organisation.
All of our Online Driver CPC courses are approved for LGV (lorry) and PSV (bus). Our most popular 7 hour modules are:
- Drivers Hours
- On Road Occurrences
- Vulnerable Road Users
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Bridge Strikes
You will need internet connection and a PC, laptop or tablet etc with a camera and speakers to join the course. Using a simple platform 'Zoom professional' and a simple booking system everything is simple.
To do this course you will need to have one or more of the following:
- Passed your car test before 1.1.97
- Passed your lorry test before 9.9.09
- Passed your CPC Mod 4 practical test
The whole process is online, once you book your course the ID process, registration, training course, feedback and certificates are all sorted electronically online.
