New Trucks to keep up at Dulson Training.

With a reputation as one of the UK's leading driver training providers and the continual progress being made by Dulson staff and the company further expansion is set for the remainder of 2019 and into 2020. 

A large new fleet of training equipment maintained without compromise already float around the Shropshire countryside preparing new drivers for licensing tests throughout Dulson's network of training sites a private driving test centres. 

May 2019 a new Ifor Williams box trailer was added to the existing two trailers to aid with Cat B+E Car and Trailer training and the less common D1+E (minibus and trailer) and Cat C1+E (7500kg and trailer) courses. With three identical trailers all modified to have easy coupling features allow us to offer more flexibility when booking courses. With three manual transmission vehicles and one automatic transmission tow vehicles to use for Cat B+E we can adapt a course to work around your schedule. 

June 2019 we added a fifth new DAF LF Euro 6. This is used for Cat C (Class 2) driver training and tests. Adding a fifth Cat C allows us to reduce waiting times, be more flexible with courses working around your commitments and adapt to short notice course and test availability. The new addition has been retrofit with a reversing camera to aid safety and improve vision while reversing. This is a safety feature with the added benefit of making the test reverse easier.

They are all small, easy to drive and have fully automatic transmission. If you pass your driving test in an automatic you can still drive a manual HGV. Our equipment is automatic, small and fitted with reversing cameras to make your experience with us as enjoyable and as easy as possible. The easier the truck is to drive the higher the chance is of you passing.

Having the fifth Cat C Class 2 has already proved to be very important, we have reduced waiting lists, been able to take advantage of short notice tests availability and when a truck has had a technical fault we have been able to swop trucks and keep the lessons progressing uninterrupted in an identical vehicle.

Everything is maintained to the highest level with regular service intervals, safety inspections and daily vehicle saftey checks and defect reporting procedure.

The 21 strong fleet of vehicles and trailer can be spotted on the Shrewsbury and Telford roads every day.

We deliver training courses through out the UK, we have sites in Shrewsbury, Telford and Rodenhurst. We have private driving test facilities at Battlefield, Shrewsbury and Hortonwood, Telford. These sites are used exclusively by us to prepare learners for test. On the test day the examiner visits the site to conduct the test. Unlike a public test site we can use the area to prepare for test and actually take the test to improve the learners confidence and pass rates.
