Emergency driving test update & online Driver CPC

Emergency Theory and Driving Test advice for critical workers

The way to apply for an emergency driving test for critical workers has changed.

You must now use this link to apply:

https://www.gov.uk/apply-emergency-driving-test

For emergency theory tests:

https://www.gov.uk/apply-emergency-theory-test

If you have already emailed using the old way, then don’t worry they will be in touch with you.

Please bare in mind that there a very limited test slots available due to a shortage of examiners willing to work.

You may get your test at short notice. The DVSA will expect you to be ready for any test they allocated to you.

Our training courses would be structured to deliver approximately 75% of the course and then wait for the test to be allocated. Once a test is allocated which may be a few days or a few weeks we will conclude with the final 25% of training and the test.

Emergency driving tests can be booked for car, car and trailer, C1 / ambulance for student paramedics and NHS staff, PSV, HGV Class 2 and Class 1. We are still undertaking Driver CPC initial qualification for Module 4 practical demonstration training and testing in-house with our DVSA assessors. We can deliver training in Shrewsbury, Telford, Wolverhampton, Wrexham and surrounding areas in Shropshire and Herefordshire

Our remote Driver CPC delivered online using Zoom, we have started to offer these courses every day, including Saturday and Sundays. With more than one instructor allocated to this training booking is easy to book and easy to set up at home. Our courses are suitable for professional lorry and bus drivers.

You can use a laptop, PC, tablet or smartphone with internet connection, speakers and a camera. These JAUPT courses are running every day at 8am. It is simple to book by calling 01952 770659 or info@dulsontraining.co.uk

It is expected that JAUPT and the DVSA will want Online Driver CPC to return to the classroom in June. However we would not be surprised if online training is the long term future for periodic training. This is why we have invested a lot of time and resources into producing an excellent online platform where we can deliver and interact with everyone.

We have had a recent JAUPT audit with brilliant feedback and comments about how impressed they where with the course content, instructors knowledge and seamless delivery of the course.

Our customer feedback has been excellent, everyone seems very happy with the online Driver CPC delivery.

On completion of every course we ask for feedback. Here is some feedback from a recent Online Driver CPC course.

Hi Dulson training, Feed back for your online cpc course,
Presentation of the course was done very expertly with Rosemary and Neil,
Booking the course was very straight forward with Pat,
Did the 35 hours over 5 days,  every day pass codes and information emailed for the next days course without any problems or delays, I would not have been able to attend the classroom course as I live in Norwich Norfolk, overall I was very very impressed with the whole course experience and would encourage the continuation of online training,
The cost of the course was fair and well worth it,
Thank all concerned with the cpc course and Dulson training for a very professional experience,
