‘Dulson Training 'Spot On' since Driver CPC JAUPT Approval’
'Dulson Training Spot On since Driver CPC JAUPT Approval'
After 2018 proving to be a very busy year delivering Driver CPC through a consortium, we decided it's time to go solo and build our own courses and seek JAUPT approval,
(Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training).
The start of 2019 saw us get Centre Approval and the registration of six modules.
We are extremely proud to offer these modules which cover a wide range of information.
- Emergency First Aid at Work 7 hours- LGV/PCV
- Digital Tachograph / Drivers Hours / Working Time Directive - 7 hours
- Vulnerable Road Users / Transport and Site Health and Safety - 7 hours
- Dealing with on road occurrences and Traffic Law - 7 hours
- Bridge Strikes and Loading and Unloading - 7 hours
- Manual Handling and Customer Service - 7 hours
Paul Gouge worked very hard in creating these modules, using his wealth of knowledge and experience in the transport industry, he has created some great modules covering a vast amount of areas, making a CPC day an enjoyable experience.
Hayley Norgrove has been very busy in the office, working closely with Paul in obtaining the Centre and Course approvals. Hayley takes care of organising the CPC days, making sure they run successfully, and makes sure everyone's hours get uploaded correctly.
We have Paul, Rob, Malcolm, Steve S, John, Jo and Richard all successfully delivering our CPC modules.
Hayley Norgrove (Operations Manager) 'I am extremely proud of what has been achieved over the last few months, a lot of hard work and dedication all round, the feedback received from JAUPT from both our audits is very rewarding'
We had our first Centre Audit in January, this was welcomed by us, as we had worked tirelessly to make sure we had crossed every T and dotted every I! The feedback given by the auditor was excellent and we were proud of what we had achieved.
April saw the first Course Audit of one of our modules. Malcolm was delivering Emergancy First Aid at Work at our location in Rodenhurst. The auditor came unannounced and has to sit and observe the day. We had again excellent feedback, being told that Malcolm was 'Very informative and engaging with the class' and that our premises, facilities and staff were 'Spot On'
Paul Gouge (Head of Driver CPC) 'Having delivered Driver CPC since it's implementation in 2009 I can see the benefits to both drivers old and new. A key part in making each day successful was the ability to listen to driver and company feedback which enabled me to develop modules that are affective and engaging to a wide audience and specific to a company's needs'.
Steve Dulson (Director) 'I couldn't be prouder of what Dulson Training, Hayley and Paul have achieved. Timed well, executed propely and with the customers needs at the forefront as always. Another string to our impressive range of Driver Training Courses'.
We are holding Driver CPC every week now until the end of the year, at varying locations across the country including Shrewsbury, Telford, Craven Arms, Ludlow, Whitchurch, Newtown and as far away as Cardiff and St Albans.
We are providing CPC to 100's of drivers each week, we can offer a bespoke service of coming to your location to your drivers, or they can be booked onto any of our classroom days that run 7 days per week throughout the year.
We are also able to offer the option of building bespoke courses specific to your company needs. Building modules targeted at your needs.
We offer several payment options including monthly payments subject to status.
