Driver CPC Periodic 35 Hours Details

We operate Shropshire’s only customer driving test sites in Shrewsbury and in Telford. All of our equipment is new and perfectly fits the needs of the learner. We have staff available to help you with every step of the process. Our training centres offer training rooms, waiting rooms, complimentary hot and cold drinks, secure parking and on-site full size practice areas.
We have our own in-house DVSA assessor.
We have a large team of friendly staff, large fleet of new vehicles and pre-book hundreds of driving tests months in advance allowing us to be flexible and keep waiting times to a minimum.
Courses can be booked per lesson or as a block at flexible times.

Driver CPC (Periodic Training) 35 hours every 5 years

If you already hold a Driver CPC qualification you will need to complete 35 hours (5 days) of periodic training every 5 years. This can be booked as a block or per day. We recommend trying to complete 1 day (7 hours) every year on a rolling basis.

We offer an extensive range of course topics with interesting and informative content. We use optional electronic hand sets to improve interaction within the group. The day will consist of a 3.5 hour morning session, 3.5 hour afternoon session and 1 hour of breaks. Our courses are suitable for lorry or bus drivers.

The periodic training is attendance only, there is no test to complete. If you do not already hold a Driver CPC you will need the Initial Qualification Mod 2 and Mod 4 before you do any periodic training. We can send you more details about the Initial Qualification.

Your periodic training hours are uploaded and recorded by JAUPT. These can be checked at any time on their web site. This will show you what hours you have completed and how many more you need to do.

We can deliver this course at one of our Shropshire training centres or at your location anywhere in the UK. Additional costs and mileage charges may apply depending on your location. Discounts may be available for large group bookings.

Our training rooms are heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer. Hot and cold refreshments are provided throughout the day and a complimentary lunch is provided. We have secure parking and all of our instructors are experienced and very knowledgable in the subject matter.
