Driver CPC Mod 2 and Mod 4 Details

We operate Shropshire’s only customer driving test sites in Shrewsbury and in Telford. All of our equipment is new and perfectly fits the needs of the learner. We have staff available to help you with every step of the process. Our training centres offer training rooms, waiting rooms, complimentary hot and cold drinks, secure parking and on-site full size practice areas.
We have our own in-house DVSA assessor.
We have a large team of friendly staff, large fleet of new vehicles and pre-book hundreds of driving tests months in advance allowing us to be flexible and keep waiting times to a minimum.
Courses can be booked per lesson or as a block at flexible times.

Driver CPC (Initial Qualification)

If you wish to drive a lorry or bus professionally you will need a Driver CPC qualification. If you already hold a Driver CPC you will need to keep it up to date by completing 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years. We can send you more details about our periodic training courses. If you do not already hold a Driver CPC you will need to pass 2 Modules.

Module 2 - Driver CPC Case Studies

This computer based multiple choice test can be booked at any Pearson theory test centre throughout the UK. The cost is £23 and you can book it directly by calling 0300 200 11 22. There are various apps and websites available to help you prepare.

Module 4 - Driver CPC Practical Demo

Our Mod 4 course prepares you for the practical test. We supply you with the vehicle for the training and test and prepare you for the subject areas. The training duration is dependant on your skill and confidence but usually 2 hours. We can be very flexible with bookings and provide the training and test on the same day.
We have our own in-house DVSA assessor who will conduct all tests at one of our Shropshire training centres. This allows us to schedule test slots to work around you and not have to rely on using the public driving test sites and examiners.
The test involves a variety of questions that you must demonstrate how you would load the vehicle, check it was safe to use, prevent risk and prevent trafficking of illegal immigrants.
