We operate Shropshire’s only customer driving test sites in Shrewsbury and in Telford. All of our equipment is new and perfectly fits the needs of the learner. We have staff available to help you with every step of the process. Our training centres offer training rooms, waiting rooms, complimentary hot and cold drinks, secure parking and on-site full size practice areas.
We have our own in-house DVSA assessor.
We have a large team of friendly staff, large fleet of new vehicles and pre-book hundreds of driving tests months in advance allowing us to be flexible and keep waiting times to a minimum.
Courses can be booked per lesson or as a block at flexible times.

Cat B+E (Car & Trailer Test)

If you passed your car test after 1st January 1997 you may need to pass a DVSA test if you wish to tow a large trailer or caravan. Minimum age 17 and you must hold a valid UK driving licence.

We can arrange an optional free assessment drive where you can visit our site, meet an instructor, discuss your training and test and try some of the test manoeuvres on site.

We supply everything you need including brand new top of the range Nissan Navara tow vehicles with 360 camera system, easy to reverse twin axle box trailers and have hundreds of pre-booked tests. We recommend booking an intensive course and we can work around your schedule.

The course will prepare you for the 90 minute test with on road driving, hitching, reversing and safety Q&A.

Courses are 1:1 and the duration will vary depending on your experience and confidence. The average course is 10 hours including the test, usually spread over 2 days. If you wish to share the course with a friend or colleague the average course is 16 hours including both tests, spread over 3 days. This reduces the cost per person.

Training is charged per hour @ £42+VAT, the test fee arranged through us @ £115. The initial assessment is free. If you are not successful when taking the test we would discuss your additional training needs and arrange another test quickly. The average retest is 4 hours including the test time and the test fee.

Our pass rate is at least double of the national average and we are one of the UK’s largest training providers completing hundreds of these courses per year.

Once dates are arranged we will invoice for the course. This is payable 1 week before the course start date. Alternatively we offer low deposit, 0% APR finance packages ‘subject to status’

If you already hold the correct B+E licence category and wish to improve your confidence and skills we offer driver development courses. We supply the tow vehicle and trailer or you can use your own equipment/caravan. The cost is £42+VAT per hour. The average refresher course is 4 hours.
