A'nnya strikes gold as a professional LGV Class 2 driver

A'nnya was born with no left forearm and no left hand, she is 19 years old and proves you can  achieve whatever you want with determination. A'nnya has passed her HGV class 2 with no adaptations to the vehicle. we are so so proud of her . #abilitnotdisability

Dulson Trainings fully managed service assisted A'nnya from start to finish, from her initial enquiry to achieving her goal. Working her way through the process with success at every step. From the initial application, completing a DVLA medical and preparing online for the multiple choice and hazard perception and Driver CPC case studies theory tests. Floating through these tests with 3 out of 3 passes we where ready to start the practical driver training.

Dulson Trainings Training Manager and Instructor Allan Jones was to be the instructor using one of our new Cat C DAF LF Euro 6 trucks, fitted with reverse cameras and fully automatic but no additional adaptive controls needed for A'nnya. 

After an initial consultation and assessment drive with Allan lessons where arranged at our Shrewsbury site. A week with Allan and the result was to be a first time pass with great examiner feedback. The test was undertaken by a DVSA examiner at our private DVSA driving test site at Battlefield Shrewsbury. Practice at the site and surrounding roads was exactly what was needed to achieve this pass. 

A'nnya was prepared by Dulson Trainings instructor John Challinor for her Driver CPC Module 4 practical demo test. This was conducted in-house by our Operations Manager and DVSA assessor Hayley Norgrove. Tick off another pass to add to the Class 2. 

Now holding a Driver CPC certificate and DQC valid for 5 years and a full unrestricted HGV Cat C Class 2 A'nnya is now a qualified professional HGV driver. Congratulations from Team Dulson and we will see you out on the road.
