In most cases yes, but don’t worry about that as we will guide you through the entire process. We will help you to arrange everything from start to finish.
Yes, if you wish to gain a new licence you will conclude your training with a 1 hour driving test. This is similar to a car test and will be conducted by an external DVSA examiner. We will arrange this test for you.
Usually yes, if you are going to be a professional lorry driver you will need a Driver CPC qualification. There are some exemptions to this, including if you are becoming a paramedic or driving for leisure purposes only. We will discuss this with you, and if you need a Driver CPC, we will arrange this for you.
It is a basic health check, looking at your overall health and eyesight. It usually only lasts for 15 minutes and can be completed by your own GP or at a specialist driver medical provider. But remember, we will help you with this, and will assist you with booking it at the correct time.
You will be able to drive the vehicle type that you have passed the test on and usually everything smaller than that. For example, if you pass the Cat C+E Class 1 you will also gain the qualification to drive the smaller Cat C Class 2 and Cat C1 vehicles.
